Bright acidity, full-bodied. A great classic cup. Dried apricot, brown sugar, & milk chocolate flavor notes.
Our current Guatemala comes from Finca Limonar and third generation farmer, Hugo Chavez. In the 1940s, Hugo’s grandfather, Jose Olivio Chávez, established a larger coffee estate that would later be divided into pieces for each of his three children and then passed down to his grandsons.
Despite difficulties with leaf rust outbreaks and low coffee prices the 170-acre estate is prospering thanks to Hugo's tenacity and ingenuity.
